Heavy Equipment Technician - Ottawa

Stanmore Equipment is growing again! We are looking for a motivated very customer-oriented Road Technician to work at our location in Carlton Place on construction equipment such as forklifts (including telescopic, rotational, and construction) and aerial equipment (including man lifts and scissor lifts).

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electric systems, and engines including diesel/gasoline/propane on a variety of equipment. 
• Completing service documentation · Providing top-notch customer service
• Traveling to customer sites as required throughout the Ottawa and surrounding areas

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years experience · Valid drivers license, clean drivers abstract 
• Customer service experience 
• Strong mechanical background including engines, electrical, and hydraulic 
• Have a good understanding of schematics and diagrams 
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Mechanical: 4 years (preferred)
  

License / Certifications:

• Journeyman (preferred)
• Trade Certificate (preferred)
