General Laborer

We are seeking a skilled, reliable general laborer to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting mechanics, operating heavy machinery, and following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment 
2) Working knowledge of basic tools and equipment 
3) Ability to follow instructions from manager or supervisor 
4) Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner 
5) Assist in building scaffolding and temporary structures
6) Safely operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts
7) Provide assistance to mechanics
8) Clean and clear debris from yard
9) Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

Requirements and Qualifications:

 - High school degree or equivalent experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus 
 - License to work operate forklifts, boom lifts, and aerial platforms preferred but not required 
 - Must be 18 years of age 
 - Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds 
 - Must be comfortable working at elevated levels 
 - Positive attitude and work ethic 
 - Able to work independently or as an active member of a team 
 - Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
