Branch Manager - Ottawa Area

Stanmore Equipment is a leader in construction material handling equipment sales, service & rentals and we are looking for a motivated, detailed-oriented Branch Manager to oversee at our growing Carlton Place location. 

Branch Manager responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch
Assign weekly performance goals and assure their completion
Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve service growth, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved

Job qualifications: 
Min 10 years proven experience in a heavy equipment managerial role
Strong decision-making capabilities
Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
Experience in heavy equipment business management or related field
Previous performance evaluation experience
Working knowledge of human resources processes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Start at $80,000.00, based on experience
